Tea & Cupcakes Bridal Shower

 'Tea & Cupcakes'

The featured pictures below are from a bridal shower for our dear friend; but this adorable idea
could easily be used for a baby shower, girls get-together or Mother's Day celebration.

This should get the inspiration going ...

Silver chargers and vintage tea cups were set out for every guest,
the bride had a special pink cup with a bag of her favorite tea awaiting.

Fresh floral arrangements set in tea pots and tea cups lined the table and buffet.

Wrapped silverware with a cupcake embellished tag and pink ribbon bow
waited at the start of the buffet line for each guest to take.

This adorable DIY banner hung by the front entrance. It's made out of pink
cupcake liners (simply poke a hole in the middle of each cupcake liner and string on yarn)
with the saying "How Sweet Love Is" spelled on square cut outs.
Pictures of the couple cut out in heart shapes were added for a personalized touch.

When it came time to open gifts the bride had a special homemade sign to mark her spot.

The Maid of Honor crafted this lovely ribbon bouquet from all the bows
and embellishments received on top of the bride's gifts. The bride used
this bouquet for practice at her rehearsal.

Owl cupcakes
Eyes: Oreo cookies and pink M&Ms
Ears: Oreo cookies
Nose: Mike n' Ikes
Make two parallel cuts about a half inch apart on the side of the oreo without the frosting. Discard the center piece and use the outer pieces to stabilize the ears. Pipe with pink frosting and fill in the center.
Helpful hint: microwave the Oreo cookies for about 5 seconds before peeling them apart. This will allow for all the frosting to stay on one side of the cookie to create the eyeball.

Gerber Daisies make the perfect low budget centerpiece for any event. Place river rocks (sold at Michael's or any craft store) on the bottom of your favorite shape vase, fill with water, and float a cut flower on top. Add dried moss for extra color and depth to your arrangement.
